Isolation and Identification of Rickettsia Tsutsugamushi from Nan Ao and Nan Peng Lie Island

Objective Aimisolation and identification of Rickettsia tsutsugamushi from mice and Leptotrombidium deliensis on Nanao and Nan Peng Lieisland.Methods Isolation of Rickettsia tsutsug amushi by animal,serology indentification,rest of virulence and immunity.Results The rate of isolation of Nanao was 26.09% and 40% respectively,Nan Peng Lie island was 33.75% and 75%;The ident ification showed thatisolation strain was Karp,LD₅₀ and ID₅₀ reached 10^-5～10^-5.25 and 10^-5～10^-5.75 respectiv ely,protection index was≥4.Conclusion On Nanao and Nan Peng Lie island,rate of isolation of rickettsia tsutsugamushi was high,prevalence strain was Karp,virulence and immunity of which was strong.
