Analysis on Prevailing Status among Urban Residents in Ningbo

Objective To analyse the characteristics and related factors of chronic diseases.Methods The prevalence of the four chronic diseases was surveyed among urban residents in Ningbo.Results The total prevalence rate of chronic diseases was 19.9%.Many factors had association with chronic diseases,which include family history,dietetic behaviors,sleeping condition,physical exercise and so on.Multiple Logistic regression analysis indicated that age,family history and BMI(Body Mass Index)were risk factors of chronic diseases,while good sleeping condition was on the contrary.Conclusion More attention should be paid to the population for prevention of chronic diseases.
