Sequences Analysis of Complete S gene of Hantavirus E-142 Strain from Yunnan E.eleusis

  • ObjectiveFor understanding the molecular characteristics of Hantavirus E-142 strain isolated from Yunnan E.Eleusis.MethodsThe S complete gene was amplified by RT-PCR and the purified products was cloned into Tvector.ResultsComplete S segment of E-142 was 1 702 nucleotides in length encoding 429 amino acids.It showed 86.6%-90.4% homology with HTN virus,but only 68.3%-69.6% homolgy with SEO viruses at nucleotide level.ConclusionThe results suggested that the E-142 strain was a new subtype of HTN virus.
