Development of Portable Formaldehyde Meter of High Sensitivity Using for in Situ Determination of Formaldehyde in Air

  • ObjectiveTo etablish a method characterized by high analytical speed,less cost,much more convenience,good accuracy and selectivity.MethodsA new portable formaldehyde meter and special reagent packages for determining for maldehyde in air in situ was developed.ResultsThe linear range was 0.001-0.3mg/L and the determination limit was 0.001mg/L.The RE of this method for determining formaldehyde in air was no more than 5%.ConclusionAll results of different practical samples were satisfactory though the analytical pro cedure was extremely simple.
