Absorption Experiment of Phenols on Particles

Objective TO investigate the transplantation and transformation of phenols in the environment.Methods The behavior of phenols onto the particles with charcoal,soil and sand was examined by static absorption.The effect of some factors such as pH value,the particles size and the ratio of solid to liquid on the absorption was also dealt with.Results It was found that Freundlich absorption isotherm was the most appropriate way for description of the adsorption.With the change or p H and some factors,so did the absorption of behavior.Conclusion It is chemical structure and environment that effect the transplantation and transformation of phenols in the earth.
