Study on Protective Methods and Affecting Factors of Students’ Fatty Status in Shenzhen City

  • ObjectiveTo investigate the affecting factors of students'fatty status and protective measures.MethodsThe random sample of about 3 000 students was surveyed.The body height,body weight,blood pressure and triglyceride,total cholesterol were measured.The main factors associated with students'fatty status were analyzed using stepwise regression.ResultsAmong the students surveyed,the fatty rate was 19.2%.The multivariate logistic regression analysis showed fatty status of students were associated with eating meat,less outside activity,disliking physical exercise and eating before sleeping.The correlation analysis showed that the blood pressure and triglyceride,total cholesterol were positive correlated with students'fatty status respectively.ConclusionThe reasonable diet is a major measure that prevents stuents'fatty status.
