Methodological Study on Intervention of Reduction of Health Risk Among Unlicensed Prostitutes

  • Objective The methodology was studied and applied during the intervention of reduction of health risk among prostitutes.Methods The strategy of integration preventive inter vention with treatment was conducted.A women health center was set up.The staff outreached to give the services of health education and counseling to the women and their owners so that the women sought the proper behavior of care and raised the condom use rate.Syndr onic management was carried out in the women health center for STD patients.Results The knowledge level of STD/AIDS among women,the awareness of being ill,seeking-car e behavior and condom use.Most of them in stage of mastering knowledge of bethavior change,but their awareness of being ill and condom use rate were still at low level.Conclusion The strategy of integration of prevention with treatment was effective on the intervention of STD/AIDS among prostitutes.
