Objective To get a general idea about the existing T-lymph cells sub group o f the individuals infected by HIV for 10 years, and to work out a therapy, and to guide the highly active antiretroviral therapy.
Methods Absolute value of CD 4, CD 8 T-lymph cells in the peripheral blood of the infected individuals were detected with American FACSCount flow cytometer.
Results 836 infected individuals were detected, 180 indivduals: CD 4 T-lymph cells < 200/mm 3(21.53);656 individuals, CD 4 T-lymph cells > 200/mm 3(78.7%), 779 indiriduals: CD 4/CD 8 < 1;57 individuals: CD 4/CD 8 > 1.
Conclusion CD 4, CD 8 T-lymph cells of individuals infected by HIV who survived for a long time remained normal within 10 years, but some of them dev eloped into AIDS.Owing to the high-level of CD 8 T-lymphocyte, the HIV patients whose immunity was extremely low, still had not anysymptom.
