Effects of Di-2-ethylhexylphalate on viscera in mice

  Objective   To find out the the effect on Kunming mice viscera made by di-2-ethylhexylphalate(DEHP).

  Methods   Kunming mice viscera were divided into 5 groups in randomization after 60 days feed and the concentration groups of DEHP were 250, 500, 1 000, 2 000 g/ml respectively.To quantify the avoir dupois and wet weight of apieceviscera in mice, then count the coefficient of viscera.

  Results   there was cease and lose weight in the higher dosage group of mice after exposure 10 days(P < 0.05, P < 0.01).the coeffcient of heart/body and lung/body increased in female compared with the control exposure to DEHP after 60 days(P < 0.05, P < 0.01);the co-efficient of liver/body in all groups except 250 g/ml concentration incr eased compared with the control(P < 0.05, P < 0.01).the co-efficient of spermary/body in male groups reduced significantly(P < 0.05, P < 0.01)compared with the control exposure to DEHP after 60 day, but the results in other groups were reversed(P < 0.05, P < 0.01).

  Conclusion   the viscer a of mice were damaged after DEHP-poisoned 60 days.
