Study on burden of stroke in Shilin county of Kunming

ObjectiveTo analyze the burden of stroke in Shilin County.MethodDisability adjusted life years (DALYs)was used as the measurement indicator of burden of disease.ResultsThe female had greater DALYs per thousand population than male.The adults aged above 60 years old had the highest years of life lost(YLLs),years lived with disability (YLDs)and DAL Ys.ConclusionThe prevention and treatment of stroke for female should be enhanced in Shilin county, and so as to decrease the injury of stroke.
