Investigation on health status of residents in Yunlong district

ObjectiveTo investigate the health status and provide intervention countermeasure for Yunlong district residents in Xuzhou.MethodsAstratified random sampling was conducted among inhabitants with questionnaire and partial health examination in Yunlong district,Xuzhou.ResultsThe aging people were higher and there was significant difference among communities(χ²=312.701,P<0.05);Income difference among communities was significant(F=854.650,P<0.05);Prevalence of chronic diseases related to life style were higher,and had a tendency toward young among inhabitants (χ²=3829.950,P<0.05).ConclusionThe health status for residents should be improved by strengthening the management of chronic diseases related to life style.
