Analysis of perceived health status and its affecting factors among rural residents

  • ObjectiveTo well understand the perceived health status and its affecting factors of rural residents aged 15 and above.MethodsThe sample was randomly chosen by using cluster-based sampling method and the subjects were interviewed by using both self-made questionnaire and Kessler 10 rating scale.SPSS was used to analyze the data.ResultsThere were significant differences among residents of different sex,age,marriage status and education level(P<0.05).The perceived health status of rural residents was related to their body and mental health status and affected by the subject's personality.ConclusionWe should pay attention to the study of perceived health status,enhance mental health care and improve the health level and life quality of rural residents.
