Experimental study on toxicity of chemosynthetic electrolyzed-oxidizing water

Objective To study the toxicity of electrolyzed2oxidizing water(EOW)made by chemical synthesis in order to provide fundamental data for its application.Methods Electrolyzed2oxidizing water was made by chemical synthesis.Animal test was used to evaluate the toxicity of EOW.Results The dermal irritation test and acute eye irritation test for EOW was negative.The micronucleus test and sperm malformation test for EOW were negative,with no significant difference compared with negative control group.Conclusion EOW shows no accumulative toxicity by oral exposure and negative results in micronucleus test and sperm malformation test and non-irritating to skin and eye in rabbits.
