Research on sexual related behaviors of only child and non-only child among female college students

Objective To study sexual related attitudes and behaviors of the only child and non-noly child in female college students.Methods A randomized cluster samping was conducted in colleges and universities in Wuhan area,in terms of types of colleges,majors(literature,sciences,medicines,art etc),and grades.A total of 5,076 questionaires was distributed,with 4 769 valid questionnaires returned.The return rate of valid questionnaires was 93.95%.The questionaire investigation was conducted on multiple-choice and anony mous basis.Data were input into computer and SPSS 12.0 software package was employed for statistical analysis.Results Among the female college students,only child was inclining to be in favor of related sexual behavior and the incidences of behaviors on love,heterosexual kissing and hugging,homosexuality and sexual intercourse were higher than those of non-only child(P<0.01).However,the incidence of masturbation in the only child was lower than those of non-only child(P<0.01).Conclusion Among the female college students,there are significance differences in sexual related attitudes and behaviors between the only child and non-only child.
