Study on health status and medical care available among Three Gorges migrants

ObjectiveTo study the health status and medical care available among the Three Gorges migrants.MethodsThree hundred and twenty Three Gorges migrants in Shandong were tested with general questionnire.ResultsThe health status of the Three Gorges migrants was lower than that of the local inhabitants.The health status of the subjects was different after the mignition.After the migration, the medical security and medical care available for the Three Gorges migrants was better than before.ConclusionThe mignints have poor health compared with the health status before the migration and more attention should be paid by the government.
