Relationship between attachment styles and HIV/ AIDS-related services/ support utilization among college students

  •   Objectives  To study HIV/ AIDS — related servit:es utilization and support acquisition aimong college students, aild to explore their relationships with attachment styles.
      Methods  With stratified — cluster random sampling, 1227 students were surveyed using a self — administered questionnaire.
      Results  Significant relationships were found between college students5 opinion on physicians and adlierence level and sec:ure attachment, preoccupied at tachiment and dismissing attachment. In addition, linkages were also found between some influence factors of the behaviors and different attachment styles.
      Conclusion  Attachment styles are closely linked to HIV/AIDS —related servicesutilization and support seeking. These findings provide new clues for HIV/AIDS intervention and merits further exploration.
