Qualitative research about factors related to intervention of reproductive tract infections

  •   Objective   To understand the bio-psychosocial factors related to the intervention of reproductive tract infections, and to provide evidence for the practical, accessible and appreciate intervention set.
      Methods   Qualitative methods of in -depth interview, focus group discussion, field observation and mystery patient.
      Results   The natives know more about the RTUSTD/A IDS than migrant population, which are not accessible to some of the propaganda method.It is common for the native women and CSWs to douche with cleaning-agent because of the false believes.Condom is not used during the commercial sex, for the causes of the CSWs and clients.The migrants and CSWs' first choose for the health care facilities is the private clinics, but they cannot tell the licensed from unlicensed.There we a few barriers to the practice of partner notification.Besides, the danger of inducing the iatrogenic infection exist in the private clinics.
      Conclusion   To set up the appreciate intervention set, the factors of the accessibility of various population to the propoganda, problems existing in private clinics, health case seeking behaviors of the vulnerable population, over vagina douching, barriers to the partner notification and the contradicted between condom use and long-acting contraceptive methods should take into full consideration.
