Expression of protein kinase c in hippocampus neuron of rats fed with iodine deficient food

  •   Objective   To investigate the expression of PKC in the hippocampus neuron of TH deficient rats for finding its role on apoptosis of hippocampus in IDD rats and mechanism of learning memony obstacle.
      Methods   Making animal model with iodine deficient food, using immuchistochemistry to test and count apoptosis, PKC expression on hippocampus neuron.
      Results   The apoptosis was increasd and PKC was reduced in neuron of hippocampus(18.18±2.99), (2.40±1.77), (0.037±0.009), (0.27±0.016).
      Conclusion   Iodine deficiency could affect PKC to reduce, which would result in the apoptosis of neuron in hippocmpus and learning memory disorder.
