Study on malignant transformation of BALB/c3T₃ cells induced by octachlorodipropyl ether

  Objective   To explore the effects of cell malignant transformation of octachlorodipropyl ether(S₂).

  Methods   Using BALB/c3T₃ cells to do cells toxicity experiment to determine the scope of doses, then to do cells malignant transformation experiment and to verify the malignant character of transformational cells.

  Results   S₂ could induce the malignant transformation of BALB/cB T₃ cells, and dose-dependent effect was noticed.

  Conclusion   S₂ possessed BALB/c3T₃ cells malignant transformation ability and it was necessary to study it further.
