Determination on ochratoxin A(OA) in samples of wheat and rice by high performance liquid chromatography

  Objective   To build a method to deter mine OA in the sample with HPLC.

  Methods   Chromatography conditions: C₁₈ column(250×416mm), mobile phase was acetonitrile 0.008 mol/L phosphoric acid(56:44, v/v), fluorescence detector(excitation wavelength 338 nm; emission wavelength 455 nm)termperature of column: 30℃.

  Results   The recovery rate and precision was satisfactory.

  Conclusion   This study established HPLC method to deter mine OA.One of sixty-two samples of wheat and rice was polluted by OA, which indicated contamination rate of cereal by OA was low.
