Establishment and Application of Hybridoma Cell Line Secreting Anti-Vibrio cholerae Monoclonal Antibody

  • Four strains of monoclonal antibody (McAb) secreting hybridoma cell were established through fusion of mouse myeloma cell and BALB/C mouse splenic cell immunized with Ogawa strain (18001)of Vibrio cholerae (biotype El Tor).These cells, no matter when they were cultured in vitro or in vivo, were shown to be able to produce McAb against Ogawa, Inaba and Hikojima strains of V.cholerae,with high specificity. The immunoglobulin of one cell line belonged to IgG2b subclass, while those of the other three cell lines, nll Ieloaged to IgM.
