Observation on the Incubation Period of Tertian Malaria in Human Infection Experiments in Areas of Different Climate in Yunnan Province

Observations on the incubation period of artificial infection of Plasmodium vivax is the temperate zone in the northwestern part of Yunnan Province aad the tropics-subtropics of southern part of the were carried out in 1982-1984.It was demonstrated for the first time that the length of the same province incu- bation period of tertian malaria in both the tropics to the south of Tropic of Cancer and the temperate zone at 27º13' N.latitude was similar.The plasmodia causing different incubation periods belong to the same strain.
