The Study on the Effect of the Balanced Diet in Children's Zinc Bioavailability with the Method of Chemical Metabolic Balance

To observe the function that the balanced diet improved the children's zinc deficiency.Hair zinc weas measured by atomic absorption spectroscopy.According to the value of hair zinc,children were divided into three groups(DB,NL,DL).DB group was given balanced diet.The other group was given low zinc diet.Zinc bioavailability was determined with the method of chemical metabolic balance in the last week of the experiment.At the end of the experiment,hair zinc and zinc apparent absorption amount and bioavailability were higher in DB than in the other groups.The balanced diet improved the children's zinc dificiency.It was an effective method of curing the childern's zinc deficiency.
