Study the Effects of Tea Polphenol on Lipid Peroxidation and Antioxidant Enzyme of Alveolar Macrophage by Quartz

  • To investigate the effects and the mechanisms of tea polyphenolon the injury of alv eolar macrophage(AM)exposed in vir to toquartz,Westudied the membranous permeability, membrane lipid peroxidation and activity of antioxidant enzyme in alveolar macrophage.The results showed that tea poly phenol could reduce AM to secret lactic dehydrgenase, increase the activity of supero xide dismutase in AM with an obivous dose-dependent relationship.Tea poly phenol could inhibit the production of malondialdehyde by AM and 20μg/ ml tea polyphenol had the most obivious inhibitoryeffect.These studies suggested that tea polyphenl could inhibit the cy to to xity of qurtz, probably due to its antioxidant property.
