The Investigation on the Living Places and Occurrence Ratio of Cockroach in Cities of Hebei Province

This paper reports ivestigation results of the living places and occur rence ratio of cockr oach at different settings in cities of Hebei pro vince. The pesticide induction method was used. The P. americana and P. fulig inosa lived mainly in kitchens and to ilets of residential houses, and in kitches of non- residence areas(e.g. hotel r ooms, hospital rooms, factor ies rooms, o ffice, etc.). B.germanica and P. japonical liv ed mainly in residential houses and hospitals. The occurrence ratio of Periplaneta in non- r esidence areas was 81.62%, the ratio of Blattella 81.27%; T he occurrence ratio of Periplaneta in residential houses was 31.41%, the ratio of Blattella 101.66%.
