The Effect of Dietary Pattern on the Expression of Obese Gene the Rats

The effect of dietary pattern on theexpression of obese gene,the secretion of insulin and growth hormone,was studied in the rats,when the level of energy consumed was the same,the different dietary pattern including high protein,high fat and high carbohydrate diets did not show the influence on the expression of obese gene,the secretion of insulin and growth hormon;however,when the level of energy consumed was higher,the level of obmRNA in the adiposity and the level of insulin in the serum were increased,but the level of growth hormone in the serum was decreased.The results Suggest that there maybe exist a mutual action mechanism among the expression of obese gene,the secretion of insulin and growth hormone,and they be modified by the same metabolic signal.
