The third investigation on smoking in Henan

The third field investigation on smoking in Henan was carried out in 1995.The results show that the general smoking rate of the population was 33.5% and the withdrawal rate 44.1%.The general morbidity and other 7 kinds of morbidity among smoking population were significantly higher than that of the non-smoking popualtion.Those smoking at the age less than 14 years old and smoking more than 20 cigarettes each day had a significantly higher morbidity.
