Development and Validation of Neurobehavioral Evaluation System Third Chinese Verson(NES-C3)

Besed on the 1st & 2nd Chinese versions of Neurobehavioral Evaluation System(NES),the third version of NES(NES-C3)was developed,to validate the new system,the total number of 5 functional domains were administered to 46 first grade medical students. This paper reeports the results of Intelectual function covering Mental Arithmetic and Serial Addition/ Subtraction two subtests. The results showed the correlation coefficient of tes t-retes t was ranged from 0.31-0.80; the Cronbach α was 0.57(α1)and 0.66(α2),and the correlation coefficient of the concur-rent validity with NCT B was from 0.34 to 0.75,T herefore,the NES-C 3 is proved to be with satisfied reliability and validity.
