The Study on the Identification of the Water Body from Marshland in Schistosomiasis Endemie Areas Using TM Remote Sensing Data

Abstract:
Objective TM satellite images from Poyang Lake region were applied to clearly identify the water body from other land surface.Methods The remote sensing data of Poyang lake region was collected.The color image composed by the layers of TM3,TM4 and TM5.The value of color image of dry and flood season was assigned to separate the water body from other of land surface.Results The values of pixels of water body were collected from dryseason image are focus on dle value of 2~5.9,11~11.9,38~41.9 and 45~45.9.In the flood season,the value of pixels was focus on 5~5.9,11~11.9,41~41.9 and 47~47.9.The area of water body of Poyang Lake was about 4357526400m2 in dry season,and it was 5754122100m2 in flood season.After the value of colorimage assigned,the water body was clearly identified from others in the image.Conclusion TM remote sensing image analysis would be a tool that can be used in the health ecological study.

Abstract:
Objective M eperidine w as separated from blood and urine with solid-phase microex traction(SPME)in the paper.Methods Meperidine was absorbed to a polydimethylsilox ane fiber at the condition of 65℃ for 10min with lido caine(IS),and detected by gas chromatography.Conclusion the detectable limit was 0.01~0.02μg/ml.this is simple and accur ate method for the separation of meperidine from biological sample.
A Clinical Epidemiological Study on HGV Infection with α-interferon Therapy

Abstract:
Objective To evaluate the efficacy of long term and low dose α-interferon in treatment of patients with chronic hepatitis C co-infected with HGV.Methods 32 enrolled patients with chronic hepatitis C co-infected with HGV were divided into two groups treated with α-interferon or placebo.Serum ALT,HGV RNA and HCV RNA were determined before and 3 and 6 months after therapy.Results The ALT level of the α-interferon group decreased steadly from the initial level of 119 6IU/L to 56 2IU/L at 6 month after treatment,significantly lower as compared with that of the placebo group(126IU/L).The HGV RNA negative seroconversion rates at 3 and 6 months after treatment were 64.7% and 64.7%,respectiely,as compared with 60.0% and 66.7% in the placebo group.No significant difference was found between the two groups.17 patients treated with α-interferon were followed up for 6 months.The ALT maintained athigh levels(154IU/L,168IU/L and 84IU/L,respectively)in the 3 patients with negative seroconversion of HGV RNA and persistent reactivity of HCV RNA.However,the ALT level returned to the normal(25IU/L,20IU/L and 20IU/L,respectively)in the 3 patients with persistent reactivity of HGV RNA and negative seroconversion of HCV RNA.HGV infection is self limited,and α-interferon has no significant efficacy on the clearance of HGV RNA.The ALT level correlates with HCV RNA reactivity in serum,but not with HGV RNA.Conclusion HGV does not seem to cause the liver damage.

Abstract:
Objective To evaluate the effects of electrodes on the production situation and the by-product CHCl3 produced in the electrochemical disinfection processes.Method Taking filtering water,the graphite and Ti(matrix)-Ti are used as electrodes,adjusting the current analyzing sample in different time,under different the production of CHCl3 conditions are reviewed.Results The results show that the production of CHCl3 in the electrolysis used Ti(matrix)-Ti is more than that used the graphite.The more the current,the more the production of CHCl3.With the length of electrolysis time,the production of CHCl3 increase,and it is the most production on 20 minutes.Conclusions In the electrochemical disinfection processes,we should use the graphite and the current should be under 1 mA/cm2,the leng th of electrolysis is under 10 minutes.

Abstract:
Objective and Methods In this report,the molecular mechanisms of cholesterol deficiency on the proliferation of T lymphocytes was investigated from the aspect of protein tyrosine kinases(PTKs)signal transductions by using of the methods of 3HTdR incor porationtest,indirect immunofluorescent stain,FCM and ICC stain in Jurkat cells.Results The results showed that cells proliferation were inhibited and blocked on G0/G1 phase and the activity of PTKs were decreased in Jurkat cells after treated with lovastatin for 3 days.When treated with LDL,they could partly increased.Conclusions These results suggest that the decrease of the activity of PTKs may be related to the effects of cholesterol deficiency on proliferation of Jur kat cells.

Abstract:
Objective To develop the HBsAg colloidal gold strip.Methods Anti-HBs monoclonal antibodies were obtained through immunizatgion of BALB/c mice with the plasma derived hepatitis B vaccine,and then purified,and labeled with the colloidal gold.The stability and clinical evaluation,as well as quality control of the HBsAg colloidal gold strip were conducted.The strip was evaluated and approved by the State Drug Administration,China.Conclusion The HBsAg colloidal gold strip can be used for HBsAg screening of blood donors and general populations,and for epidemiological studies and diagnosis of hepatitis B virus infection.

Abstract:
Objective To explore the relationship between serumtrace elements and coro nary heart disease(CHD).Methods Apaired-matched case-control study was carried out,and Optical Spectrum Sweeping instrument was used to deter mine that trace elements of total 17 in serum in patients(n=186)with CHD and a control group(n=186).Datum was amalyzed with T-tets,ANOV,Discriminant-analysis.Results In patients with CHD the serum contents of Fe,Cd,Pb,Ni,Ag increased;the contents of Cu,Cr,Si,Sc,Sr,Mo decreased.Alteration of Fe,Cd,Pb and Cu,Cr,Si was greater.Higher level of Fe,Cd in plasma is very risk,and Cu,Cr is defensive factor of CHD.The effect of elements on individual showed certain law in element periodic table,in most cases the elements would produce harmful effects when theiratomic weight,atomic number and activity increased.Serum contents of trace elements Fe,Cd,Cu,Cr were better discerning index for CHD.Conclusion The CHD is related with changes in plasma levels of trace elements.Fe,Cd,Cu,Cr are impoortant influential factors of CHD.Trace element are going to play the significant role in prevention,controlling and diagnosis,curing for CHD.

Objective In order to evaluate the effect of 7 times strengthened National Immunization Days Activies(NIDs) in Liaoning Province,We analyzed the data of NIDs.Methods Comparative analysis by using of epidemiological method.Results the coverage rate of 7 times NIDs Liaoning Province was above 96%.At present,the children of OPV "zero dose" have been decreasing,and theirages were under 1 year old.Based on birth-co-hort analysis,a certain proportion of children missed by each NIDs,and the proportion of children being missed decreased as the childrencs age increased.Conclusion So maintaining the NIDs activities have controled the childrencs accumulation of OPV "zero dose",most raised immunitied level of proportion,timely prevent the spreading from wild polio.

Objective Aimisolation and identification of Rickettsia tsutsugamushi from mice and Leptotrombidium deliensis on Nanao and Nan Peng Lieisland.Methods Isolation of Rickettsia tsutsug amushi by animal,serology indentification,rest of virulence and immunity.Results The rate of isolation of Nanao was 26.09% and 40% respectively,Nan Peng Lie island was 33.75% and 75%;The ident ification showed thatisolation strain was Karp,LD50 and ID50 reached 10-5~10-5.25 and 10-5~10-5.75 respectiv ely,protection index was≥4.Conclusion On Nanao and Nan Peng Lie island,rate of isolation of rickettsia tsutsugamushi was high,prevalence strain was Karp,virulence and immunity of which was strong.

Abstract:
Objective To investigate the survival of EHEC O157:H7 in various kinds of water quality.Methods We collected eight kinds of water sapmples and added the solution of the fifth generation of EHEC O157:H7 933 strain bacteria suspended with appropriate concentration to the water samples which had been sorted in the laboratory and made the concentration of bacteria infected up to 106 CFU/ml,then preserved these water samples under the condition of 4℃ and 25℃ individually.Samples were collected once every five days after infecting bacteria,then the bacteria were separated and identified.The bacteria were sifted primarily through SMAC、disaccharidferric、lysine dynamic agar before separation and identification.The Colonys whose feature coincided with EHEC O157∶H7 were counted after the assurance of bacteria biochemical identification and serum identification.Results The survial time of EHEC O157:H7 lasted 15 days at least and 40 days at most after they polluted water samples;the Survival number of EHEC O157:H7 indicated acute attenuation curve in swimming-pool new water or mineral water under 4℃ and the survival number slightly indicated the plateau near 104CFU/ml after it decreased by 2 orders of magnitude acutely in 15 days in well-water under 4℃ and the survival number's change of EHEC O157:H7 indicated double-plateau attenuation curve in other samples under 4℃;The survival numberof EHEC O157:H7 in well-water under 25℃ indicated plateau's another acute attenuation after it decreased by 3 orders of magnitude acutely in 5 days;The survival numbers all indicated acute attenuation curves under 25℃ in other water samples;The survival numbers of EHEC O157:H7 under 25℃ in other water samples were all fewer than in the same time's samples under 4℃ except that their survival numbers were higher in swimming-pool old water on the tenth day than in that under 4℃;The survival numbers of EHEC O157:H7 all indicated the phenomenon of attenuation's sudden acceleration when they decreased to 104CFU/ml in various kinds of water samples under different temperatures except in well2water under 25℃.Conclusion The survival of EHEC O157:H7 in water quality is associated tightly with the kinds of water quality、surrounding's temperature、organic substance in water and content of bacteriostatic substance;Attention should been paid to the survival difference of this kind of bacterium when searching source of infection and dealing with infectious water,then different measurements are adopted; No drinking fresh water is advocated in daily preventive work and supervision and monitoring should been strengthened in the production of pure water and mineral water;Water in swimming-pool should be changed and swimming-pool be sterilized on the stipulation.

Abstract:
Objective To determine whether there are different in obesity-prone and obesity-resistant rats before diet-induced obesity occurs.Methods Male Sprague-dawley rats were divided into control group and high-fat group randomly.After initial blood sampling,rats were fed a control diet or a high-fat diet for 7 weeks.Over the 7-wk period,rats fed the high-fat diet diverged into two groups based on body weight gain.Serum testosterone and estradiol concentrations were determined in rats befor exposure to the high-fat diet by radio immunoassay.Results The obesit-yprone group had a low testosterone concentration before the onset of obesity(0.50±0.46nmol/L)compared with obesity-resistant rats(1.95±1.70nmol/L)and control rats(1.03±0.47nmol/L).Estradiol levels were not different between the groups.Conclusion Low testosterone secretion exists before dietary challenge or before onset of obesity and may contribute to the susceptibility to obesity observed in these rats.

Abstract:
Objective In order to investigate the aetiological factors of upper dig estive tract cancer in Taixing area.Methods On population based a case-control study including 591 cases of esophageal cancer,360 cases of liver cancer,430 cases of stomach cancer newly diagnotised and controls matches with age,sex and resident area was carried out.Results Multiple logistic regression analysis show that common risk factors of upper digestive tract cancer in Taixing Area are higher comsumption of alcohol and related diseases(chronic gastritis,gastriculcer and stomach cancer; pathological change of esophagus and esophageal cancer;chronic hepatitis cir rhosis and liver cancer).Other wise,it was found that increased risk for esophageal cancer was associated with the feel constrained.long-term melancholy,family history of esophagus cancer,like eating salty food and ove-rhot diet,HBsAg positive and family history of liver cancer can increased risk for liver cancer,while risk factors of stomach cancer are feel constrained and longterm melancholy,less eating fresh veg etables.Conclusion It is necessary to prevent such as above risk factors in Taixing Area.

Objective In order to study rational complexing of insecticides and enhance killing2effect of complesed insecticids to resistant files.Methods The present paper is about killing-effect of complexed insecticide for resistant flies in laboratory by efficacy test and critera of public health insecticide for pesticide registration.Result The results shows that the effect of complexed insecticides to resistant flies in laboratory and in investigative spots are basically same.Conclusion Even if increasing the concentration and dosage of single insecticide,the killing-effect is less than the complexed insecticide.If the insecticides were complexed rationally,the killing-effect would be increased.This complexed insecticides in one of the main chemical method to control resistant lies,and it is also the main to deter and reduce the resistance of flies for insecticides producing and developing.

Abstract:
Objective The aim of this study was to evaluate effect of chitosan on rat body weight,concentration of plasma leptin,serum testosterone and their relationships.Methods Five groups of rats were respectively given access to base diet,high fat diet and high fat diet containing different doses of chitosan for 7th weeks.All rats were weighed once a week.By the end of 7th week,the animals were sacificed and their blood samples were taken,the concentration of plasma leptin and serum testostero ne were determined by RIAK it method.Results Chitosan prevented the increase of body weight induced by a higth-fat diet and lowered serum testosterone concentration.Based on analysis on the changes of body weight and plasma leptin level,it is inferred that chitosan could give rise to the augment of leptin in plasma.Conclusion The concentration of serum testoster one reduced by chitosan could stiumlate the secretion of leptin,which could be in part responsible for the inhibiting the increase of body weight induced by high-fat diet.
Interaction between Cadmium and Selenium on Calcium Homeostasis and Protein Kinase Activity in Nerve Cells in Vitro

Abstract:
Objective To observe the interaction between Cd and Se on [Ca2+]i and pro tein kinase activity in neurons.Methods We detected the activity of [Ca2+]i and protein kinase(PKA,PKC)in isolated neurons in different conditions.Results The result shows that the Cd dose of 5~50 mol/L decreases intracellular free Ca2+ concentration([Ca2+]i)and PKA activity,and increases PKC activity,however the Cd dose of 500 mol/L increases significantly [Ca2+]i in nerve cell,and PKA,PKC activity.The Se dose of 5 mol/L does not cause the variation of [Ca2+]i in nerve cell,and has no effect on the variation of intracellular free Ca2+ concentration caused by Cd in neurons.Conclusion The present study shows that study in vitro is not suitable for the study that Se inhibits Cd toxicity.

Objective In order to study decply on the fluorosis mochanism,we observed the free radical bone、liver and kidney and the anti-oxygen system of the erythrocyte in the chronic fluorosis rats with SOD inducer.Methods The SOD、GSH-Px activities of erythrocyte and contents of plasma MDA were detected with biochemistry.The free radical contents of bone、liver and kidney were detected with ESR technolgy.Result The activities of SOD、GSH-Px of erythrocyte and the content of the plasma MDA,and the free radical contents of bone、liver and kidney in the fluorosis animals with SOD inducer were no changes as compared with the control animals(P>0.05),whereas were markedly decreased as compared with the fluorosis rats(P<0.05).Conclusion The results indicated that the SOD inducer may recover the activities of free radical scavenging enzymes(SOD、GSH-Px)and decreased the free radical contents of bone、liver and kidney.

Abstract:
Objective To determine the content of Flavonids in celery extract and provide information of quality controlling for health food which was made of celery extract.Methods Rutin and quercetin were used as standard material respectively.The colormetric method was used to deter mine the content of flavonoids in celery extract.Also,the recovery ratio of both methods were compared.Results When rutin was used as standard material,the average content of flavonids in celery extract was 1.05% and the recovery ratio was 102% while quercetin was used,the average cotent of flavonids and the recovery ratio were 1.11% and 99.56% respectively.Conclusion Both methods for determing the flavonoid contents in celery extract are simple and useful,mean-while the determination repeatability is very good.

Objective To avert the intrauterine lead exposure.Methods Sample collected from pregnant women were detected for lead load body by atom absorption spectrum.The intervention epidemiological toward the persons who were voluntary body was conducted by Ebselen.Results The 38th weeks intervention group increased 21.5%,obviously lower than the control group(64.5%),zinc contentsand(GSH-Px)activites were incresed,LPO contents the difference was very significant(Par<0.01).Conclusion It points out that Ebselen has counteract effect on pregnancy lead load,the Selenium in Ebselen does not take part in the reser ve but enhancese the activity of GSH-Px,facilitates the reserve of zinc.There is the probability that Ebselens availability to prevent the infants lead poisoning.

Objective To study the relationship between apoptosis and apoptosis-related gene bcl-2.Methods Using terminal deoxynuleotidyl transferase mediated dUTP biotin nick end labeling(Tunel)and immunohisto chemistry SP method,the apoptosis rate and the expression of bcl-2 in HCC was examined.Results The apoptosis rate was significantly higher in chronic hepatitis than in HCC(P<0.01).The frequency of expression of bcl-2 in HCC was 51.3%,while that in chronic hepatitis was 25%.The expression of bcl-2 was negatively correlated with the apoptosis(P<0.01).Conclusion Apoptosis is inhibited in HCC which may be related to bcl-2 gene dysregulation.
Regulation Effects of Celery Extract on Lipid Parameters of Rats Fed a High Fat Diet

Abstract:
Objective This study is part of an effort to develop effective prevention for hyperlipidemia.Methods Four groups of wistar male rats were fed a high fat diet for four weeks to induce hyper lipidemia.One group was fed normal diet as control.Three groups that fed the high fat diet were administrated with celery extract at the doses o f 1.05g/kg·bw、0.35g/kg·bw、and 0.18g/kg·bw respectively.At the middle and the end of the experiment,the contents of seum total cholesterol(TC)、triglyceride (TG)and high density lipopro tein cholesterol(HDL-C)were determined.Results At the end of the experiment,a significant reduction was found in the serum TC and TG of the animals treated with celery extracts at the high and middle doses.In the high dose group TC and TG were decreased 24.2% and 35.1% respectively.But there was no different changes of HLD-C content.Conclusion There were regulation effects of celery extract on lipid parameters of rats fed a high fat diet.

Objective To investigete the status of diet nutrition and physical health on naval vessel personnel during and after navigation.Methods The survey procedures included a fou-rday weighted diet record,twenty-four-hour energy expenditure and anthropometric measurements(body height,body weight,arm muscle circumference,triceps skinfold and subscapular skinfold).Results Daily energy intakes for naval vessel perso nnel met the RDA for the army,but were a little more than that of energy expenditure.The evaluation of armmuscle circumference was 95.5 and 95.2 percent of normal evaluation respectively,so it indicated protein storage was good.Conclusions Moderately reducingenergy and fat supplementation,increasing the intake of vitamin,increasing calcium intake to make the ratio of calcium and phosphate reach to 1:1~1.5 are suggested.

Objective Epidemiological changes of hemorrhage fever with renal syndrome(HFRS)in Shandong province were conducted.Methods Incidence and mortality of HFRS among different seasons,age groups,sex,occupations from 1990 to 1998 were compared respectively.Results The endemic areas expanded and HFRS incidence increased in Shandong province from 1990 to 1998,HFRS mortality decreased eider.The incidence of HFRS in spring was higher than that in winter,mortality of HFRS in winter was higher than in spring,and HFRS death of every year was affected and caused by HFRS cases in winter.Population of 25~49 years old,men and farmers were main resource of HFRS cases and deaths,but HFRS risk of others population would increased.Conclusion The epidemic changes of HFRS have been from Hantaan virus infection to both Hantaan virus infection and Seoul virus infection in Shandong province,so we should prevent and control both Hantaan virus infection asnd Seoul virus infection.

Abstract:
Objective The purpose of the study is to know the status of students'psychological health and provide the ground for the intervention on psychological health effectively.Methods 2045 students from the college,technical second school and junior college were selected by group and stratified sampling for the survey on currnet status.The investigated result was evaluated and analyzed by SCL-90 auto-evaluated criterion.Results The general score of investigated students was lower than the normal level of the Chinese adult.The average scores of all kinds of factors for the students of technical second shool were higher than the students of the college and junior college.There was differences among each grade of the college which the students,factors was over 2 score.Detectable rate of the nervous symptom was 45 percent in primary screening test.Conclusion The total psychological health level of the students from the college,technical second school and junior college,as a particular group,is low comparatively.Therefore,there is no time to delay to conduct systematically active intervention of psychological health on them.

Abstract:
Objective The study designed to approach a more complete statistical method of the multiple comparison among several sample rates obtained from binomial distribution data with Mote Carlo method on a computer.Methods After calculations and analyses,the formal experimental factors were determined.The population rate:0125;the sample numbers:3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10;the sampling times:1000000;the probabilities:0.90,0.75,0.50,0.40,0.30,0.20,0.10,0.05,0.025,0.01,01.005.Result After a large number of calculations the χ2-test critical values for the multiple comparison among several sample rates were brought out.Conclusion Reasonable analyses show that the critical values have high accuracy.

Objective To found new methods of Hg in human hair.Methods This methods adopt flow infection hydride generation atomic absorption spectroscopy(HGGAAS)teamwork technic to determine trace Hg in the human hair.Results The method detection limit is 0.1ng/g.The linearity scope is 0.000~2.520μg/g.The recovery is 92%~98%.The relative standard deviation is 1.4%~3.4%.Conclusion It is simple,convenient,and of good precision and high accuracy.It is a very good methods for mensuration of the Hg in human hair.
