Advances in epidemiological studies on association between airborne particulate matter and Alzheimer′s disease

  • All around the world, air pollution has been a significant environmental and public health issue. The potent effects of airborne particulate matter (PM) imposing on nervous system, such as occurrence of Alzheimer's disease, have drawn researchers' attention. The study gives a lucid narration of exposure routes posed by PM, sorts out and analyses relevant epidemiological studies in recent years, thus putting forward advice for correlative researches. Narrowing the burden of AD is highly anticipated after deeply exploring the relationship between PM pollution and AD.
