Abstract
The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) epidemic is a serious public health emergency causing negative impacts on both physical and mental health of the public. During the period of COVID-19 epidemic, a professional team was organized with the coordination by Nanshan District Center for Chronic Disease Control and Treatment in Shenzhen city; the team integrated the district′s human resources for mental health including volunteers and consultants engaged in psychological services and psychiatrists. The mission of the team is to provide a comprehensive psychological service to individuals in centralized medical isolation settings in the district and the service includes psychological assessment/diagnosis/treatment, public welfare hotline, and psychological self-help. The study introduced the psychological service mode for mental health management among attendees in centralized medical isolation settings to provide references for conducting psychological interventions in major public health emergencies.
