To foster the healthy progression of this pilot effort, future work should align with national strategies for building a high-quality disease prevention system and the modern development of the Healthy Zhejiang initiative. Key priorities include strengthening institutional safeguards and workforce development, leveraging digital intelligence tools, enhancing collaboration between full-time and part-time supervisors, and improving the capacity of healthcare institutions for early detection, reporting, and responses to infectious disease outbreaks.
