A Study on the Relationship Between Body Fat and Sexual Organ Development in Prepubertal Male Children

  • To study the relationship between body composition and the development of sexual organ among male children in prepuberty. Method:A cross section investigation was conducted in 730 male children aged 8 and 10 years.Result:The length and width of both testicles have no significant difference in groups with % BF less than 35%.These indexes of the group with % BF more than 35% are less than those of the other groups.With the % BF increasing, the length and width of penis descend.There was negative relationship between penis length and % BF(r=-0.513),regression equation:y=-0.7065+45.6358.
