A Study on the Relationship Between Body Fat and Sexual Organ Development in Prepubertal Male Children

To study the relationship between body composition and the development of sexual organ among male children in prepuberty. Method:A cross section investigation was conducted in 730 male children aged 8 and 10 years.Result:The length and width of both testicles have no significant difference in groups with % BF less than 35%.These indexes of the group with % BF more than 35% are less than those of the other groups.With the % BF increasing, the length and width of penis descend.There was negative relationship between penis length and % BF(r=-0.513),regression equation:y=-0.7065+45.6358.
