Study of Relationship of Diabetes Mellitus with Lipid and APO in Shenzhen

The article studied that relationship of the prevalence rates of diabetes mellitus(DM)and impaired glucose tolerance(IGT) with Lipid and APO,A total number of 8200 persons of more than 20 years old having lived in the communities longer than 5years in 5 regions of shenzhen in 1997,using stratified cluster sampling method.The study results showed that the prevalence rates of DM and IGT were significantly positive relative to TG and TC,negative relative to HDL,and rose As TG and TC incr eased.Comparing in difference level group,two rates were significantly higher in higher than standard group than lower than one.
