Observation on Bio-spin of Ccryptic Growth Cells

  • To observe the formation of the bio-spin and its adaptive capacity. Methods: Proteus mirabilis was micro-cultured in a chamber and then observed under microscope. Results: The slender monopolar cryptic growth cells(CGCs)tended to revolve to form bio-spins which were active and exhibited a 3-dimensional structure. Some CGCs tended to bend at certain part to form a S-shaped center. The morphology of the center was repeatedly regulated to suit environmental changes. Conclusion: The formation of bacterial bio-spin depends on external and internal factors and the special type of movement of the bio-spin is associated with bacterial pathogenicity.
