Combined Toxic Effectes of Cadmium and Chromium on the Water Fleas (Daphnia magna)

The present work evaluates the coeffects of Cadmium and Chromium on the water fleas.AI value 1:1 and 2:1 of Cd:Cr were tested.The results indicated that the coordinated toxicity on the different ratio of Cadmium and Chromium was stronger than that of Cadmium or Chromium individually.AI value calculated by a additive index method was 0 which has shown the coordinated toxicity of cadmium and Chromium on water fleas.
