A Study on the Relationship between Hypertension, CHD and Cerebral Infarction in Type 2 DM Patients

ObjectiveTo explore the relationship between Hyperten, Coronary heart disease(CHD)and cerebral infarction in type 2 diabetes mellitus(DM)patients.MethodsA paired-matched casecontrol study was carried out.Data was analyzed with conditional logistic regression.ResultsThe result showed thathypertension, CHD and atrial fibrillation could increase the risk of cerebral infarction in type 2 DM patients.ConclusionControlling blood pression level,CHD and atrial fibrillation were proposed in order to prevent from cerebral infarction in type 2 DM patients.
