Screening and determination of the most cost effective strategy for hepatitis B virus markers test among our armies

In order to reduce the cost of prevention of hepatitis B in the army,the most cost effective strategy for hepatitis B virus markers test among our armies was screened based on data of hepatitis B in our armies and related information about general people using the decision tree model and SPPS.Results:On the basis of current expense of hepatitis B vaccine and HBVM screening test,decision analysis indicated that the most cost-effective strategy of screening test for troops or recruits was to examine anti-HBs first,then antiHBc among anti-HBs negative people and vaccinate the anti-HBc negative subjects.Conclusions:The results indicated that screening only two kinds of markers could be equal to screening three ones in regard to effectiveness,but the former was also economical,which could be used in our army.
