Canonical Correlation Analysis on Psychological Status and Happiness of Wounded Veterans

  • To explore the associationof psychological status and happiness of wounded veterans in Hubei province,China.851 revolutionary wounded veteran randomly sampled from Hubei province were tested by Symptom Checklist 90(SCL-90)and Memorial University of Newfoundland Scale of Happiness(MUNSH),The method of canonical correlation analysis was used to study the relationship of psychological status and hapiness.The first and second canonical correlation coefficient was 0.7234 and 0.6277 respectively.The factors of obsessive-compulsive,interpersonal sensitivity,depression,anxiety,paranoid indeation were negatively associated with general negative experience and negative affect,the factors of somatization hostility were negatively associated with general positive experience.Decreasingdistress of revolutionary wounded veteran can improve their happiness.In order to improve lfe quality of revolutionary be wounded veteran,Health education Should established.
