The Effect of Acid and Some Compositions in Determination of Strontium in Air-C2 H2 Flame AAS

  • Objective To know the interference about determination of Sr in air-C2 H2 AAS.Method The effect of inorganic acid、organic acid、PO43- and SiO32- on determination of Sr in FAAS was studied in detail by method of single factor comparison. The method of elmination interference was investigated. Results The results showed that inorganic acid suppression the Sr absorption, most of organic acid have little effect on Sr absorption.La and EDTA elminate/decrease interference of HCl 、HClO4 、H2 、SO4 、Al(|||) 、PO43- 、SiO32-,but La decrease absorption of Sr standard solution.EDTA not be very effective relatively. The elmination ionization of K is not necessary. The method has been applied to the determination of Sr in water and drink with satisfactory results. Conclusion HNO3 was suggested dissolution sample.La elminate/decrease all kind of interferences.
