Study on Relation Between Compliance of Patients with Anti-hypertensive Therapy and Individual Characteristics of Patients in Community

  • ObjectiveTo study the relation between the compliance of patients with antihypertensive therapy(CPAT) and individual characteristics of patients.MethodsTo survey CPAT and individual characteristics of 976 patients and to analyze the association with logistic regression.ResultsThe rate of good CPAT patients is grown with the growth of age and education level of patients.Effects of economic income on the rate of good CPAT patients shows Ustyle.Patients with low economic income or high economic income have good CPAT.Pat ients with medium economic incom have poor CPAT.Patients with another disease besides hypertension have lower rate of good CPAT(OR=0.64).There are no statistical asso ciation between patients of sex,the style of paying for medicine fee,the job state,the habits of living such as smoking,drinking and CPAT.ConclusionImproving CPAT need focus on the hypertensive patients whose age are between 35 and 55 years,or who have lower education level,or who have middle economic incomes.
