Influence of Edible Oil from Railway Dining Car To Drosophila Melanogaster’s Longevity

ObjectiveTo detect the influence of edible oil from railway dining car to drosophila melanogaster's longevity by drosophila longevity test.MethodsCollecting and grouping the drosophilas that hatched in 8 hours and did not copulated yet,each concentration group had 200 drosophilas,both female and male had 8 concentration groups,registered the survival number of drosophila per 2 days and replaced the culture medium per 4 days till all the drosophilas died.ResultsNo matter half life-span、mean line-span or maximal mean life-span,the significance of difference between experiment groups and control group were marked(P<0.01).ConclusionThe edible oil had obvious effect of shortening the drosophila melanogaster's longevity.
