Effects of Commodity Waters on Weight, Stamina and Biochemical Indexes of Mice

  • ObjectiveTo investigate the biologic effects of drinking commodity water for a long period.MethodsThe mice were fed with same food.Mice in different groups drank different kinds of water such as activated water, mineral water, pure water, tap water. The weight, stamina and biochemical indexes of mice in different groups were compared.ResultsThe average weight of mice who drank activated water was much more than that of control who drank tap water(P<0.05).However,mineral water and pure water had no effect on weight of mice.Of those mice who drank commodity water, the stamina and biological indexes were lower than those of mice drank tap water.ConclusionDrinking commodity water for a long period could cause some adverse effects on liver function, protein synthesis, and lipid metabolism. The stamina may also decrase. It was necessary to evaluate the biological effects of every kind of commodity scientifically.
