Abstract

Abstract

Objective To investigate the incidence rate of post traumatic stress disorder(PTSD)and its related influencing factors among recovered from SARS in Shanxi province.
Methods 117 Subjects recovered from SARS were assessed with self-compiled stressor and knowledge questio nnaire, Impact of event scale-revised(IES-R), PSSS, SCSQ, SES, EPQ.
Results The incidence of PTSD symptoms was 55.10%.The influencing factors among the sever responder groups were isolation, social discrimination and negative coping.
Conclusion The incidence of PTSD syndrome of subjects recovered from SARS is high.The mainly influencing factors are isolation, social discrimination and negative coping style.
