Abstract

Abstract

Objective To study the inhibition effect of cadmium chloride(CdCl ₂)on detected by growth curve and methyl thiazolyl tetrazolium(MTT)assay, and cell cycle was determined by flow cytometry(FCM).
Results CdCl ₂ showed inhibition effect on the proliferation of SMM C-7721 in dose-dependent manner.Cell cycle was arrested in G ₀/G ₁ phase.
Conclusion CdCl ₂ possesses growth inhibition effect on hepatocellular carcinoma cells and the mechanism may be related to cell cycle arrested.
