Analysis on quality of life and its influence factors in Dai and Hani minorities

  Objective   To analyze and compare the quality of life for two minorities and to study it's influencing factors.

  Methods   According to the cluster samling principle, two villages were sampled and the residents were investigated with a questionnaire about the life custom and a questionnaire about the family life circumstance and the Chinese Version of WHOQOL-100 in Mengla county of Yunnan province, the factors which probably influencing the quality of life for the Dai, Hani nation are analyzed by stepwise regression analysis.

  Results   The mean of the total scores of quality of life about the two nationalities Hani, Dai were 76.58, 75.22, respectively.the twenty-one variables which probably influence the quality of life for two nationalities were selected into the regression equation.The twenty-one variables were whether falling ill, nationality, whether having chronic, whether eating raw vegetables, et al.

  Conclusion   The influencing factors Quality of life are nationality, age, levels of culture, whether having chronic disease, conditions of family, conditions of health, whether having good lufe habit, et al.
