Construction and evaluation of DNA microarray for common intestinal pathogenic bacteria detection

  •   Objective   To detect the intestinal pathogenic bacteria quickly and accurately.
Methods   To detect and identify common intestinal pathogenic bacteria target genes with prepared DNA microarray.
Results   16 strains of bacteria in pure culture belong to 8 genera(salmonella, shigella, escherichia coli, vibrio cholera, vibrioparahaemolyticus, campylobacter jejuni, yersinia enterocolitica, and listeria)were successfully discriminated under comparatively same condition and a series of specific hybridiztion maps corresponding to each kinds of bacteria are obtained.
Conclusion   Common intestinal pathogenic bacteria can be detected and identified by DNA microarray. It provides a more efficient method for intestinal pathogenic bacteria detections.
