Breeding characters and control method of flies at refuge storge places in star hotels

  Objective   To investig ate flies breeding at refuge storage places of starhotels and explore effective methods for fly larvae control.

  Methods   Ocular estimation was used to observe the living conditions of live mag gots an identify them, to choose effective chemical prevention and treatment methods and control effect was observed.

  Results   There were fly larva breeding in every refuge place, with an average breeding rate of 72%.The breeding rate was up to 96% on the soft ground of refuge place.The dominant fly was Muscza domestica, accounting for 69.9%.Combining the use of insecticides and hardening the ground could significantly increase the killing effect on maggots.

  Conclusion   In order to effectively control fly larva breeding, refuge should be daily dispose, bag packaged and frozen, the ground should be hardened, the use of insecticides should be combined.And meanwhile keep the environment around the hotels clean.
