Study on inhibition effect of high pure copper and zinc alloy granule on proliferation of Legionella pneumophilar

  • Objective To restrain proliferation of Legionella pneumophila using the set of removingalg a and bacterium by destroying its microeco environment and provide guide for establishing the way that can control proliferation and propagation of Legionella pneumophila for a long time and no negative effect on environment.Methods In the first ten days of July 2005,the ai-rconditioning cooling water was gathered to constitute experiment ecopattern using high pure copper and zinc alloy granule and contrapose ecopattern and every week sampling water was gathered to detect Leginella pneumophila,alge,amoebae and percorr elative water quality.Results Afer ecopattern was constituted,only lesseralgae were observed and Legionella pneumophila declined as fast as temporal increase until the fourth week in experiment ecopattern,but Legionella pneumophilar and algae increased in contrapose ecopattern.At one time no ameba was detected in experiment ecopattern but amebasyst and nourishing body was detected in contrapose ecopattern.Conclusion Side sieve stuffed full of high pure copper and zincalloy granule can kill not only Legionella pneumop hila,but also can get rid of algae and ameba to depress proliferative speed of Legionella pneumophila and therefore possesses preferably applied foreground.
