Evaluation on constructing program of national medical rescue system

ObjectiveTo evaluate condition and effects of the construction item of the national medical rescue system, and provide the suggestion for the follow-up construction and the experience for the other construction items about public health.MethodsThe quantitative and qualitative resear ch was carried out to the 33 provinces.selfevaluating reports on the construction of medical rescue system.Result(1)98.31 percent of the 2 667 intending items of the medical rescue system wes finished;the item's total investment was 12.587 millions yuan,the total subside of equipments was 2 408 millions yuan, the national debt's proportion of western region was the highest in the both investments(72.04%,80.61%);the construction area amounted to 5 916 300 m² at present.(2)Enhancing the service ability and the whole function of medical rescue system,perfecting gradually the mechanism of meeting an emergency,improving obviously the infrastructure;the construction ground and local funds were carried out with difficulty,which became the main reasons of some projects not yet finished;the direction of the follow-up construction was inclined to staff training and system construction.ConclusionThe whole item went with a swing,the objective of building up the mechanism meeting public health emergencies and strengthening construction of medical rescue system cametrue basically in 3 years.
